科学成就:

主要从事蚕丝蛋白的合成与调控、家蚕生长发育性状调控与蚕丝新材料开发与利用研究,现任重庆市蚕丝纤维新材料工程技术研究中心副主任,智利国家科学技术委员会、国家自然科学基金委、国家留学基金委、教育部学者计划、博士学位论文、国家博士后基金、浙江省、重庆市、河北省、广西自治区基金等评审专家,重庆市高校创新团队研究骨干。

近年来,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、重庆市自然科学基金重点项目、中央高校基本科研业务费创新团队项目、重点项目、西南大学博士基金、生物大分子国家重点实验室开放基金等多项,指导学生主持重庆市研究生科研创新项目6项,中央高校基本业务费“学生双创项目”5项。主研美国自然科学基金(NIH R01)、美国心脏病协会基金、美国Welch基金、国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家自然科学基金青年项目、重庆市自然科学基金、中央高校基本科研业务费、西南大学博士基金等。在PNASelifeScience signalingMolecular and Cellular BiologyBiophysical JournalInsect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology等国际学术刊物发表论文40余篇。
