1. Gene expression regulation and genome modification of silkworm or insect species using transposase, site-specific integrases, customized ZFN, TALEN and CRISPER/Cas9 nucleases

2. Genetically engineering the silkworm spun silk as functional biomaterials for biomedical application.

3. Engineering the silk gland of silkworm Bombyx. mori as bioreactor to produce the recombinant pharmaceutical proteins.
